The “Fishermen’s Forum 2014: Conversations on Climate Change” will bring together fishermen, academic researchers, policy-makers, and other interested parties to discuss research and observations related to climate change and its effects on our oceans.

WHEN AND WHERE: The event will be held at the Civic Centre in Port Hawkesbury, NS. A social event on November 6 from 5pm-8pm will kick-off the full day workshop, which will commence at 8am on November 7.

This is a FREE event with breakfast and lunch provided for all participants on November 7.

The Fishermen’s Forum 2014 is organized by the Gulf Aquarium and Marine Station Cooperative (GAMS) and is supported by the Marine Environmental Observation Prediction and Response Network (MEOPAR), Dalhousie University, and Environment Canada.
